超聲波式料位傳感器

在貯倉頂部對著料面裝有超聲波發生器和接收器。發生器發出的超聲波經空氣層射至料面后就被反射，一部分反射被接收器所接收，由超聲波發射至接收所經歷的時間乘以聲速就可計算出料位高度。由于空氣溫度的高低會影響聲波的傳播速度，所以還需測量空氣溫度以修正聲速。超聲波式料位傳感器適合于測量粒度較大的塊料料位。

Ultrasonic level sensor

Ultrasonic generators and receivers are installed on the top of the storage bin facing the material surface. The ultrasonic waves emitted by the generator are reflected when they reach the material surface through the air layer, and a portion of the reflection is received by the receiver. The height of the material level can be calculated by multiplying the time it takes for the ultrasonic waves to be emitted and received by the speed of sound. Due to the influence of air temperature on the propagation speed of sound waves, it is necessary to measure the air temperature to correct the sound velocity. Ultrasonic level sensors are suitable for measuring the level of bulk materials with larger particle sizes.
